Dr James Stone is a dental surgeon, company director of The Tooth Company Limited, and CEO of Cannulight Technology Limited, both based in Auckland, New Zealand. Following years of treating anxious patients under intra-venous sedation, James identified the need for novel technology to assist in the placement of intravenous catheters.

He founded Cannulight Technology Limited in 2022 and was the first human to trial the device. James is a successful clinician, business owner and leader.
